Rebecca and Scott

From Rebecca:

He proposed at the Melting Pot. We were celebrating an early Valentine’s Day. The dessert was coming out and Scott asked our waitress to take a picture of us. We stood up to take the picture, and another waitress came with the plate of treats to dip in the chocolate fondue. Written on the plate in chocolate were the words “Will you marry me?” I turned to Scott, who was down on one knee with a ring he took out of his pocket. He asked me to marry him, and I squealed “uh huh!”

Michael and Olga

From Michael:

I started talking to a girl on JCrush who lives in Kharkiv, Ukraine. We first matched each other and started to message each other on 17th June 2015. On the same day we exchanged numbers and we spoke to each other on the phone via Whatsapp. We had an instant connection and got on amazingly well.

We continued speaking on the phone and messaging each other every day.

I went to meet Olga in Kharkiv Ukraine for the first time for the weekend on 18th to 21st September 2015. It was the perfect weekend. When we first set eyes on each other it just felt so right. There was no awkwardness and everything felt so natural. It was like we had known each other all our lives.

After the weekend I went home and we continued talking. I decided to go back to Kharkiv in October and this time I stayed for one month from 22nd October to 23rd November 2015. We stayed in a hotel together. Our relationship quickly blossomed and we got to know each other so much better. It was at this time when we both fell in love with each other. I think during this month we ate out at every restaurant in Kharkiv as we went out for dinner nearly every night…

…I am delighted to announce that we got engaged. I proposed to Olga on 22nd January at Superior Golf and Spa resort at the Albertross restaurant in Kharkiv and we stayed in the hotel a few nights. I had rose petals with candles on the dinner table to spell out Olga will you marry me. I had it in English and Russian also as Russian is the main language she speaks. She thankfully said yes and I am also excited and happy to announce we have booked our wedding for 18th August 2016. It will take place in Kharkiv.

Thank you so much JCrush. We both can’t thank you enough for your website bringing us together. We both never thought we would ever meet someone from a different country let alone get engaged to be married. It’s amazing and we are the happiest we have ever been in our lives.
