2. Take a Class
Take a class or join a group housed by a major Jewish organization. Jewish classes, both of religious or cultural nature, are offered throughout the city. Interesting speakers, classes and other hands-on or mentally stimulating environments make for a great place to meet new people. The 92nd Street Y, along with most Jewish studies departments in graduate schools around the city, offer fantastic adult education programming. Classes by the Center for Kosher Culinary Arts provide a fun, recreational education in the art of cooking while offering a great environment to meet people also looking to explore the opportunities New York City has to offer.
