The Jewish state is enjoying something of an influx of NBA players, thanks to an initiative of pro-player Omri Casspi to fight the boycott Israel movement.
Casspi, an Israeli himself, brought his Sacramento Kings teammates DeMarcus Cousins, Rudy Gay, and Caron Butler, as well as Chandler Parsons of the Dallas Mavericks, Iman Shumpert of the Cleveland Cavaliers, Tyreke Evans of the New Orleans Pelicans, and Alan Anderson of the Washington Wizards, in an effort to shine light on the dangers of the BDS–boycott, divestment and sanctions against Israel.
While in the Jewish state, the players shared a bevy of images and videos via social media, showing the men relaxing, touring and generally soaking in the pleasures of Israel.
Butler shared photos from the Carmel Winery and the King David Hotel. Parsons uploaded video of himself dancing energetically with Israeli children, and Cousins shared an image of himself sitting atop the old walls of Jerusalem.
Here, you can see a collection of the players visiting the Dead Sea together:
