Beyonce reportedly ordered $3,500 worth of brisket from Caplansky’s Deli, a famous Jewish deli, in Toronto after her two-hour performance at the Rogers Centre on May 25.

A Caplansky’s employee confirmed to Fader that “99%” of Beyonce’s order consisted of Caplansky’s famous brisket, which is interesting, considering that Beyonce is a vegan and owns an $18 vegan meal delivery service.

Buzz about Beyonce’s incredible order comes at a great time for Caplansky’s, which just opened up a new location in Toronto’s Yorkville section, in addition to its original location on College Street. Caplansky’s also has two locations in Toronto’s Pearson Airport and has plans to expand across Canada.

Now that it’s known that Beyonce likes to dine on the local fare, Israelis are wondering whether Beyonce will drop $3,500 on falafel when she performs her two shows in Tel Aviv this August.

At least falafel is vegan and might be slightly better for Beyonce’s waistline and figure, which she has been showing off on her world tour in a line of outfits designed by Israeli designer Inbal Dror.
