Girls” creator and star Lena Dunham got into a brief Twitter spat with Shia LaBeouf Saturday morning over his recent apology for a plagiarism gaffe.

The actor hired a skywriter to scribble “I Am Sorry Daniel Clowes” in the clouds over Los Angeles last month after admitting he had based his 2012 short film “” on Clowes’ comic creation “Justin M. Damiano.”

But Dunham couldn’t abide his actions.

She took to Twitter at 6:34am on Saturday to air her grievances:

LeBeouf responded quickly with yet another apology:

Dunham backed down just an hour and a half after her initial attack.

Clearly all is now well in young Hollywood again. Until the next ill-conceived apology.

J-Connection: Shia LaBeouf’s mother is Jewish, and he had a bar mitzvah. Lena Dunham’s mother is also Jewish.
