With her upcoming role as Wonder Woman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice premiering in theaters in less than a year, Israeli actress and model Gal Gadot was featured on the cover of Entertainment Weekly’s July 10 edition, along with co-stars Henry Cavill, who plays Superman, and Ben Affleck, who plays Batman.

Gadot told Entertainment Weekly that she knows the fans have certain expectations of her, as she is playing a character that has captured the interest of comic book readers since the 1940s.

“There are so many expectations for this character, it’s impossible not to
be a little nervous about it,” she said.

Gadot told the magazine that she was especially excited for the opportunity to learn new fighting skills for the role of Wonder Woman.

“I love doing the swordplay stuff,” she says. “It’s another skill to add to my collection.” However, the weapon Wonder Woman is best known for using is her lasso. Gadot explained that her skills in that area are not as advanced, as she noted to the magazine, “I’m still working on that.”

Gadot is an actress and model who got her start as an Israeli print and runway model and then starred in the “Fast and Furious” film series. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will premiere in theaters on March 25, 2016.

Gadot is also featured in a new Gucci fragrance commercial, appearing in the nude and showing off her stunning catwalk moves. Watch below:
