The 2015 Family Life Index poll, which is published by InterNations, ranked Israel as number four in a list of world countries where it is best to raise a family. The poll asked emigrant parents to judge the country they moved to with respect to the quality, cost, and availability of childcare and education.

Austria came in first on the list, with Finland in second place, and Sweden in third place. The United States and Britain both did not make the world’s top 20.
