Larry King has landed in Israel. Mazel tov!

The media veteran touched down in the Holy Land on Tuesday, marking his first visit to Israel in two decades.

Larry is in the country as a guest of the Holon Education Lottery. A special session is set to be held on the issue of the American Jewish education system, with a focus on how changes in recent years have affected relations between the US and the Jewish state.

Israel’s Education Minister Naftali Bennett is also taking part in the forum, and will participate in an interactive dialogue with parents and students. Israeli President Reuven Rivlin will be present as well, leading a talk with acclaimed Jewish writer A.B. Yehoshua.

Today, King posted to his Facebook account a photo of himself in front of Tel Aviv Beach, with the caption, “Is there anything better than lunch by the water?” And yesterday he wrote, “Sunset in Tel Aviv. What a beautiful city!”

We have to agree, Larry!
