Last week, the first lady of Israel made a moving visit to a wedding ceremony originally postponed as the bride’s father and brother had been killed by a terror attack.
Sara Netanyahu hugged and greeted the happy couple and their guests, at the wedding of Sarah Techiya Litman and Ariel Beigel in Jerusalem. Litman’s father, Rabbi Yaakov Litman, and 18-year-old brother Netanel, were murdered in November when a Palestinian terrorist opened fire in a Jewish area of the West Bank.
While the wedding was pushed back due to the tragedy, the simcha could not be snuffed out altogether. In an effort to spread light in the darkness, the bride and groom opened their wedding up to the entire world, extending an invitation to any who chose to attend.
The result was a packed house, with guests including the first lady. See more images below.
