Shimon Peres is “feeling well” after being rushed to the hospital yesterday due to chest pains he was experiencing.
The former Israeli president and prime minister was treated for arrhythmia, just a week after suffering a heart attack. He is expected to remain in the hospital throughout Monday.

“Shimon Peres, the ninth President of Israel, is expected to remain in Sheba Medical Center today. Due to mild arrhythmia he experienced yesterday, his doctors recommended that he remain in the hospital to allow him to continue to be monitored and for his medication to be adjusted accordingly. President Peres now feels well and the tests conducted have not revealed any irregularities.”
