The United States Postal Service released its annual holiday stamp collection this month, with one Forever stamp commemorating Hanukkah.

The stamp, issued for the first time this year, features a contemporary iron menorah created by Vermont blacksmith Steven Bronstein. Beeswax candles illuminate the illustration.

The last Hanukkah stamp released was in 2011, and showed a dreidel spinning in a graphic spelling out the name of the holiday. No Hanukkah stamp was released in 2012, due to disappointing sales of the 2011 Forever postage stamp.
