3. King David’s Tomb

What is believed to be the tomb of the Biblical King David is located in a 1,000-year-old building on Jerusalem’s Mount Zion. The tomb is a very popular site for tourists and pilgrims who often recite the Psalms David wrote at his the place of his burial. The site is especially busy on the anniversary of King David’s death, which coincides with the festival of Shavuot, a time when many pray and study at the tomb.
