Courteney Cox confirmed that her ex-husband David Arquette is set to become a dad again–his girlfriend is expecting a son.

In an awkward interview with Ellen DeGeneres (featuring a fair amount of Cox’s intensely personal beauty regimen), Cox revealed that the couple’s daughter Coco can’t wait to become a big sister.

The former “Friends” star said, “They’re going to have a baby boy. I hope I’m allowed to say that.”

She added, “Coco is really excited. At first she was nervous because, you know, it’s a big deal. At first, I was nervous; I was like, ‘Woo, heavy!’ It’s great though.”

Cox and Arquette were married in 1999 and divorced last year.

Arquette’s entertainment reporter girlfriend, Christine McLarty, was first reported to be pregnant in November. The baby will be the couple’s first child together.

J-Connection: Arquette’s mother was the Jewish daughter of a Holocaust refugee from Nazi-occupied Poland. He became bar mitzvah at the Western Wall at the age of 40.
